From my own experience and experience of our students, the most effective way of preparing for this certification would be to read the official SAP books:

BPC410 SAP Business Planning and Consolidation, version for that Microsoft platform: Administration
BPC420 SAP Business Planning and Consolidation, version for SAP NetWeaver: Administration
BPC430 SAP Business Planning and Consolidation: Reporting and Planning
BPC440 SAP Business Planning and Consolidation - Consolidation
BW310 BW Enterprise Data Warehousing

You will get these books by attending the state SAP courses (online or classroom) or by borrowing them from the friends or colleagues who attended SAP training before.

Besides reading books with theory, this is a good idea to train with sample certification questions. They are going to give you an idea of how good your understanding of SAP BPC is, is there a format of questions at the real exam, along with what are the gaps inside your understanding.

Finally, it is necessary to do practical exercises.
